Lori Hill is a senior immigration lawyer at North Star Immigration Law and a proud Nova Scotian. Since being called to the Bar in 2004, she has dedicated her legal career exclusively to the practice of Canadian immigration law, providing compassionate and professional counsel to clients navigating complex legal systems.

A Foundation in Public Interest & Education
Lori’s career began with a prestigious clerkship at McInnes Cooper before she chose to serve as in-house counsel at the Halifax Refugee Clinic. In 2007, she transitioned to private practice, joining Elizabeth Wozniak to help build North Star into a leading regional firm.
Lori is also a respected educator; she shared her deep knowledge of the field as an instructor for the Immigration and Refugee Law course at the Schulich School of Law (Dalhousie University) in 2018.
